Reading this with interest. I am travelling to Thailand with a stop over in Dubai later this year and decided not to risk taking the quad based upon what I had read online. Will be interesting to see how you get on. What about the TX? I assume the internal battery will show up on X-ray...

I am going to Thailand in November and it would have been amazing to take the Phantom, however I am going via Dubai which means I can't. I wouldn't even attempt to take it in to Dubai.

I ordered one of these I need to collect from the Post Office tomorrow. With the shipping to UK, and now the import and handling fees I need to pay, this must be the most expensive bracket ever... :eek: Hopefully it's worth it!

You live in one of the most stunning parts of the country. Stop flying in your back garden and take it to some of the amazing landscapes you are surrounded by :) I've just got a P3A and can't wait for my next visit up there - will definitely be bringing it with!
