    Uncontrollable crash

Thank you for this. I didn't know this was a possibility. I'll keep this in mind next time I'm flying. You may have saved me a few hundred dollars in heartache. Thanks!

    Uncontrollable crash

So it's only something to be concerned about near high walls? Or all the time? Thank you for the info! I've never heard of this before.

Can you explain the prop wash problem a bit? I'm not familiar with that.

Recommend a 17x13x8 backpack for air traval

It's a gimbal guard. I have one from Polar Pro. Definitely recommend.

The only thing that changes the controller that I know of are the c1-2 buttons, and the ability to change modes for the controls.

    Uncontrollable crash

Yes. I did this today and held the stick completely down for >20 seconds with no issues.

    Uncontrollable crash

The act of you holding it is still exerting pressure on the leg, making the phantom think it has landed.

This has been my experience as well.

AFAIK, and from what I've experienced, only a CSC will stop the motors in mid air. I have pulled the left stick all the way down multiple times with no issue.

    Uncontrollable crash

I have the latest update and have not had this issue at all over the multiple flights I've had. Have you yourself experienced this?

    Uncontrollable crash

I'm no expert, but it should still descend in a controlled way to the RTH altitude. It shouldn't just drop out of control there.

It will shut them off when it senses that it has landed/been caught. edit: spelling

    Uncontrollable crash

Sorry, when I say CSC I mean the same combination you use to start the motors. (Both sticks down and inward as far as they will go) As I understand it, doing this midair will cause the motors to shut off completely, and had resulted in uncontrollable crashes before.

Is it possible you inadvertently performed a CSC while piloting it back? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

WANT TO BUY Phantom Propeller Clamp Tool

Is there an advantage to using these? I just hold the gray part under the prop and tighten down the propellor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
