Thanks to help from you all on the forum I just build my first quad from a scratch, a DJI f450 with E300 motors/props, a DJI Naza Lite, and a knockoff DJI frame. It flies great and is a blast however when flying it seems to wobble in the air on the axis of one of the arms which I'm sure will...
Re: FPV factory mariner with NAZA flight system won't hover
I had a similar problem of the quad taking off vertically in a f450, but upgrading the Naza lite software solved the problem.
Thanks for the help. Where did you mount your antennas? I was thinking the ideal place to mount it was on the arms of the rotor, but I wasn't sure if the direction of the receiver mattered like the direction of the NAZA.
I'm currently building my own DJI F450 quadcopter using a DJI NAZA M Lite. I am trying to use a DJI Phantom 1.1.1 receiver and transmitter however I can't find any literature on how to hook up the RX to the NAZA Lite. Any help would be nice to get this bird into the air. Thanks.
I've noticed that on Ebay you can purchase a DJI NAZA Lite with Gps for around 150 (see the link below). Personally I have always been cautious buying expensive electronics off of Ebay that ship from China, so I am wondering if these flight controllers are legitimate or if they are DJI fakes...
You should check out the website called OpenExplorer. It is less of a site for storing photos and more of a site for sharing the adventures of flying. It is currently composed mostly of ROV (which are basically small cabled underwater submarines) footage, which is also what I use it for but I...
So I just bought a phantom v1 DJ6 controller. Am I better to match a phantom v1 2.4GHz receiver (spare part number 31) with it or am I better to match a phantom v2 2.4 receiver with it (spare part number Part P2-05) . Or is there a difference at all?
Am I better to buy a Phantom 2 receiver or a Phantom one receiver? Will a DJ6 transmitter work with a phantom 1 receiver? What is the deal with the two versus one antenna on receivers?
Thanks.
So just to clarify, I should be able to use either a phantom 2 vision/vision+ controller with a phantom 2 vision/vision+ receiver at 5.8 GHz or I can use a phantom 2 controller with a phantom 2 receiver at 2.4 GHz. I would prefer not to use a phantom one controller if I can avoid it due to the...
I am currently shopping around for parts to build my first Quadcopter which will basically be a DJI f450. I am currently planning on using a DJI DJ6 control and receiver along with a NAZA Lite.
1) However, I have heard that you can experience issues getting the controller to bind to a...
My understanding is that the Inspire 1 has a USB port which can interface into an Ipad or other device. According to DJI's website (link below), their software is supports IOS version 7.1 or later
Android version 4.1.2 or later. Check out the link below for more info...
I think since this is my first build from scratch, and since in the past I have only worked with Zenmuse gimbals, I am just going to go with a reasonable priced Ebay gimbal. Although not as accurate as a Zenmuse, I have a feeling it'll work fine for my use. I don't think I'm ready for an Alexmos...
Since this is my first quad copter build from scratch, I don't want to spend too much on a device that has a high possibility of crashing. By old NAZA lite what exactly do you mean? What is the difference between the old and new? What is the advantage of getting a NAZA V2 besides being able to...
