Take apart your controller and make sure the extender is still connected properly. If one of the connections came lose it could cause the problem you're describing.

Yes if you want to use all the F-Modes (Waypoint, POI, etc.) You have to enable the Multiple Flight Modes on the app.

Check out UAV Forecast It will give you all the information you need on choosing the best time to fly.

If your getting it off of Amazon compare it to a brand new one in price. Remember they will also tax it which can be as much as 30-50 bucks extra. I bought mine from Amazon new and the price between brand new and refurbished once tax was included was only a few dollars.
