I have 3 batts and never really paid much attention to anything and not had problems. Although i usually put in a fresh one if I am under about 50%. And I only fly with a less than full chatge if I know it will be a quick flight.

Phantom 4 Pro been flying good for about a year but now seems like my GPS module is bad - have reinstalled latest firmware with DJI assistant 2, reinstalled DJI Go 4 app, calibrated IMU, still have same problem - flying in P mode. Even did factory reset and reinstalled firmware.

I never hand "catch". But rather every time I hand "grab".
Bring it to a stable hover at top of head level, walk up slowly and reach up and out to grab leg slowly and use a firm grip. Throttle down with left hand. Always use a neck strap.
Pretty happy with center of prints I've made at 36" - RAW, f5.6, iso 100, plenty of light so high shutter speed in low wind - blur wasn't an issue.
Not as good at edges but acceptable.
Have same two tablets - also got k1 thinking it would be smoother - it was about the same until I upgraded to android 7 thern got app crashes. Went back to nexus 7 on android 6 and works fine - screen slightly smaller but it is much lighter which is nice.
Yes lots of folks can take a good photo. Getting high fees as a commercial photographer is about consistency and reliability. If you provide both over time you get a reputation and business. A drone is just another tool for a professional photographer.
