That's not a bad idea. When you say 'the beginning edge' what do you mean? I need to know the thickness of the cylinder, to print something that fits around it well enough to stay on there. Also; someone else mentioned ninjaflex. I already have some on hand.

I'd be more than willing to help out. If anyone has callipers, so that they measure the camera accurately, I'd be willing to send them a free lens cap!

I use a gimbal too, and I have as much control as most people with Phantoms, since there's only 1 spare channel. I just don't have stabilised video when rolling and turning.

What are you even talking about? I fly an NX-500 on my P2 ... that's a 400g camera, which does 4k, and 28mpx stills.

No it's not. I'm talking about the broadcast end; so we can determine whether or not we can replace the camera.

I've been pretty sceptical of 3DR's attempt to displace DJI, but there are 2 critical features here that might see them really take a good chunk of the market. The first is the integrated HD link, and the second is camera control of a third party camera. DJI has locked people into their cameras...

I'd be pretty biased if I gave my answer.

I'm most curious to see how the P3's version of Lightbridge connects to their camera.
