Thanks Driffill I checked it yesterday, but didn't pull it off, so thats what Im going to do next. At any rate, my problem has to be GPS related, so the puck is the first thing to check/replace.

IMU calibration(basic and advanced), Tx controls calibration and also checking the IOC and flight mode functions. Thats all AFAIK.

Not too long ago I was totally new to quads and RC flying . The phantom was my first experience. I am now comfortable flying in ATTI mode but would not have been initially. Perhaps you could find a big open field with lots of sky and learn a bit using GPS mode before you try ATTI ?
