I'm not sure of your "pinging a satellite" comment. GPS are receivers only, they don't transmit or ping anything. They can't be logged by a satellite.

I have the standard pack. I was sort of disappointed when I found out that the waist straps do not have the ability to fold into the back of the pack like the 5.11 version.

Never had to enter serial number. Turned everything on to get ready to fly and it asked me to activate in the app. It grabbed the serial itself and asked my to name my Phantom. Now when I go into the User Center in the app and log in. I can go to the profile icon and see my profile info...

I can't remember. I think once your logged into you DJI account in the app it creates your profile and activates. I did it with the Inspire app because I received my P3 last Wednesday and that's all that was available then.

Try going into the User Center from the main menu and log into your DJI Account or create one.

I power on my controller with the phone unplugged. When I plug my phone into the controller I get a notification on the phone what sort of USB PC connection I want. Charge Phone, Media Sync (MTP) or Send Images (PTP). Look in your notifications to see if anything like that is in there. I'm...

My bad, just saw you have 1.1.0. When you plug you phone into the controller make sure the USB plug is all the way in the controller. Are you selecting PTP as your USB connection?

Where did you get your Android app? From the Play Store or the DJI website?

I'm using an LG G2, no problems. Just make sure to turn on USB debugging and set your USB connection to (PTP) when plugging in.

Just flew my P3 a little while ago. Downloaded this andriod pilot app this afternoon, not sure if it's pre or post update, even if it is an update. All I know is the P3 flew perfectly and the app was fine. I'm using a LG G2 with Android 5.0.2.
