I seem to remember that you can... IF you add additional hardware into the guts of your craft... you'll have to do a search through the forum if nobody comes up with the correct part I'm referring to. Sorry i can't be of more help.‎

I haven't done it myself, but through the many lost hours of reading through this forum... seems to be that you need to add weight to it so it equals a gopro, otherwise it won't function properly. ‎ Seems the two most popular methods are sticky back velgro, and also ty-raps (zip ties)... ‎

Sj4000 range is very lousy, maybe 50ft max (my experience anyway), fc40 cam has decent range - maybe 300ft is what I get.. all depends on your phone or tablet wifi as well

Well exactly. I think this is a deal breaker for many... no doubt the newer quads have a lot of built in features... stuff we FC40 guys have to add and mod to get for our quads... ‎

Hey thanks for this... this looks like a great upgrade!! I've been wanting two batteries but just can't stand the look of placing batteries on the exterior of the craft. Maybe this is next year's upgrade for me... I just bought a G2D and also an SJ4000... thanks again.‎

My solution is to not update the firmware - LoL! If it ain't broke, don't fix it (don't update the firmware unless there's something not working right, and the update claims to fix it)... ‎ I know that doesn't help for you right now hopefully someone can chime in with some useful info for ya.‎
