Hey Everyone. First off, I just wanted to say that I flew two batteries on my new P3P today. First time flying. This thing is stupid easy to fly. The video is incredible (set it to 1080P/60). Updated all firmware to newest on the quad, RC and batteries before first flight without issue...

Pretty much the main reason why I bought the P3P is so that I can get footage while on the boat. Both in motion and when just hanging out. Guess I'll find out if it's an issue or not. o_O I know guys that use their Phantom 2s on their boats without issue, but nobody with a P3. -=Mike G.

So, what about if you are on a boat? (not to hijack here) Can't calibrate in the water... can I do it on my boat? I have a 2014 29' Rinker cruiser. I don't have a generator, so I won't have power running through the boat while calibrating. -=Mike G.

Nice!! 50mph. The Fed-ex guy just showed up! I did end up with the new W323B with the GL300C. Opened the manual and it still says "16m/s" max velocity (in ATTi mode) so that's just over 35mph without a tail wind. :cool: -=Mike G.

I could see them limiting the speed. :rolleyes: Can't have a Phantom 3 going faster than their new models "go fast" mode now can they. Helps to push people towards the newer more expensive model. I hope I'm wrong, but I've seen it before with other products. -=Mike G.

I will definitely try ATTi mode. I have flown several other quads. This will be my first one with GPS and the other fancy stuff so "ATTi" mode is the norm for me. BTW.. if you want something really fun to fly, and to get used to the "ATTi" (unassisted) mode, the Traxxas QR1's are really fun...
