I have been flying for about a year. Safety and common sense will keep you out of most problems. By the way, I swear by prop guards. Everyone has their own preference. But if I were you, I would at least start out with them. God bless and happy flying!

I don't make a ton of good decisions about recreation time but the FC40 is one of the best ones I have ever made. Absolutely no regrets. Right model, right price, and right hobby. Having a blast with the FC40.
The switch on the camera housing is useless. I usually turn the camera on before putting it in the housing then control the video and photo recording from my android phone.
I have noted the same problem. I just turn the camera on before putting it in the mount and control the video and photo recording function for start and stop from my android phone.
