Thanks Dirk glad all is well. How's your grandson? I just visited mine (yep I'm a grandfather of a 2 and a half year old) time really fly's. My daughter lives about 2 hours south of me in Delaware and she was worried about her roof after the ****** weather we had up here this month. I didn't...
Hey Dirk long time no chat. How are you doing buddy? Been a crappy year here so far I've had 5 funerals in less than a month.
In your infinite wisdom (there are so many contradicting posts) with the Phantom 4 do you need to calibrate the compass when moving location say 50 miles?
I've had my P3P for over a year and it's been in for repair twice for forward arm cracks. Fixed and returned at no cost each time. So far no issues this time but time will tell.
No worries thanks for the input and good luck with them. I'm leaning to aluminum plates if I can find them for a US seller. I fly pretty hard but have turned the active breaking down to 80% and still got the latest crack. Number 4 ARGH!!!!
Thanks Gary I'll check them out. All 4 times it has been the left front motor, no crashes and always hand catch. I have a P2V that I learned on that has had it's fair share of crashes but never a scratch and my P4 has never had an issue. I love the P3P except the **** stress cracks!
I am so pissed having to send back my P3P for the 4th time for stress cracks around the arms and motors. There are so many plates out there and I'm looking for anyone that can recommend a set that they have had luck with. Thanks everyone!
Glad to here all is well Dirk. My grandson turned one year old on the 15th. What a blessing he is!:D I'm still on 2.9.2 with all the latest firmware and all is good on my P3P and P4 so I'm going to wait a while before I update DJI Go app:rolleyes:. I picked up some windsurfers and holy crap...
Hey Bro I hope all is well. I skipped 3.0.0 and 3.0.1 because of all the apparent changes and messing with where everything is on the screen and large text etc. Is there really all that many changes since the last update?
Hey BMP welcome. I have been flying DJI quads for a few years and have an old dinosaur P2V that I still love to fly as well as a P3P and a P4. I have a hard time deciding which is a better machine the P3P or the P4 as they both have features that are awesome. Take your time flying for a bit...
Mocho great news for me I sent my P3P in for repair on 9/22 and its already on it's way back as of 9/27. Seems DJI repair is starting to get their act together. The big question is will the the shell be a new improved reinforced model or the same thing. I'll keep you posted when I get it back.
