    Battery issue....

According to the manual, this LED3 light blinking twice per second indicates an 'over charge detection' and if its blinking three times per second indicates an 'over-voltage charger detection' In the first situation i would try to discharge the battery down In the second, try the battery on a...

    Controller not charging

Perhaps the battery charge is so low, it hasnt enough power to power on. Try plugging in to charger, then try turning on the controller..? Leave the charger plugged in for a while...perhaps it will begin charging after a while. If it does leave it to fully charge to maximum (about 1.5 hrs)...

Who's phantom has traveled the furthest?

Wow, this is from just one Phantom 3? Have you ever had to replace any motor(s) or had any other issues? Sent from my iPad using PhantomPilots

Who's phantom has traveled the furthest?

I have the P3P with the old motors and for what its worth i'm amazed by the reliability. 1,651km total flown so far, in 377 flights total, and all from the 3 batteries i had from the start (17months ago) I've been kinda expecting something to go wrong with a motor or battery for ages now....but...

Phantom 3 left stick to bottom right corner = motors shut off

In flight maneuvers you would never likely put the sticks in this CSC position. That would be a very bizarre combination of commands if you think about it - left stick fully down and in, would be rapid descent also spiralling clockwise....right stick fully down and in at the same time would be...

    Crashed my DJI Pro 3

Incorrect. I have covered over 1,600km of flight distance in 375 flights and have calibrated my compass about 5 or 6 times Sent from my iPad using PhantomPilots

45 times charged, 89% battery life

Alan, Have you tried re-calibrating your old battery? I.e. Run it down to 8% power or less, leave it to cool to room temperature, then charge it to max. Then check the % battery life. My 3 have all dipped to around 80%, but re-calibrating has boosted them back up Sent from my iPad using...

    Range

The furthest distance I have managed was 4,200m. I still had decent signal if I remember rightly, but i got scared about getting back with remaining battery [emoji51][emoji38] Sent from my iPad using PhantomPilots

45 times charged, 89% battery life

I was just searching the forum for any threads on ppl's numbers of battery charge cycles and 'life expectancy' of batteries etc. I've had my P3P seventeen months now and have made 375 successful flights. I have had 3 batteries almost since day 1, and have tried to use them equally. Just checked...

Real maximum distance acheived on Phantom 3 Professional

The further you fly out, try increasing your Phantom's height. 150 feet is only about 50meters altitude which isnt a lot when you're getting a mile or more out. Increase your height as you are flying further out to say 250-400feet (100+ meters), and, providing you have no obstacles between you...

Why would you update FW? I probably wont

I am still on FW 1.4.10 & RC 1.4.30 since about Sept/Oct 2015. Unless DJI ground it uless I update, i decided not to bother doing updates. 370 flights now with p3p and still fine. Sent from my iPad using PhantomPilots

Amazed by the reliability of my P3P....

Haha, dont consider myself any kind of great pilot, a bit lucky perhaps as in nothing on the Phantom has failed touch wood. Although an expensive toy to some (£1,600) with extra batteries and accessories, i maintain that to get 16+ months of use out of it, it aint that outrageous an outlay...
