Being an AMA member, I'll wait until they tell me to register (or not). Being an AMA member means you belong to an organization that prides itself on safety of flying your RC airplane or quad.

The only drawback to the standard phantom 3 is that it will only go out about a half mile and then you'll lose signal and it'll come back home. But it still is fun to fly and it takes some really great pictures and video. I might one day upgrade to the advanced P3 which has about a 3 mile...
