A bracketed exposure is when the camera takes 3 to 5 photos, each with different exposures. Then you use a program like Adobe Lightroom to merge them. Then the overexposed images fill in the shadows and the underexposed fills in the bright spots. It's the best way to make an HDR image.

I have a Standard too, and I had issues changing the firmware from the SD card. I called DJI tech support and they said the Standard has to be upgraded via the app DJI GO. I don't have the notes on how to do this, but you can find it on their help page, or call them. All is not lost! Hope...

Gutch, the reason he asks about your altitude is that those of us who did a firmware update not long ago are suffering from the ability to get more than about 200' from the controller. We are desperate for a firmware update to fix this. Glad you're not having problems!

Yeah, I did that a few times. The light on the controller turns green and I still see the picture, DJI GO says "RC Signal Lost."

msinger, thanks for that link. That is a great resource. But it shows a MUCH larger restricted area than even the DJI airspace restriction. It seems really murky where it is truly LEGAL to fly vs illegal.
