Don't think it's the same issue. With mine, when flying low and slow directly in front of me, I can see the gimbal (camera) shake, while the phantom remains (relatively) stable. Pretty sure mine is an issue with the gimbal. I did adjust my settings to those that Piranha originally posted, and...

Not to get into the broken gimbal thread, but as this is about the cyclops, I hesitate creating a new thread. Balancing: I find that with the power off, my camera wants to flop over and invert itself. What I've read, you want it to basically stay wherever it is left. Has anyone balanced...

I believe the "Licensed" software is imbedded in the controller. It's what controls the gimbal, you don't download or install it...

Apart from raising the sensitivity (ISO) if not already on auto, theres nothing else to do... But remember, high ISO also introduces noise, so be prepared for some post. Many image editor applications will have ISO noise reducing filters that can help.

Ok, well, once my adrenalin level stabilized, I thought about it. I reloaded a saved profile, shut off the motors, leveled it the best I could by hand, and ran an accelerometer and gyro calibration, and voila, its working again. I guess I should have done that before the panic post, so, sorry...

Excellent. My gimbal was working fine, on the ground and by hand (raining all week, so grounded). Got home today, and decided to fix what wasn't broken, and did the following. Reduced gimbal gain to 0 in the assistant software. No problem, still good. Installed and ran basecamp. Connected...

I was wondering about balance as well. A few videos I saw (different gimbals and/or platforms) show the camera should basically stay where left when moved, buy mine clearly wants to roll over upside down as well.

You can always plug the camera back in to the cable coming from the phantom as a test, bypassing the gimbal...
