Looking for recommendations on flying game or simulator that would be realistic, but more importantly, easy to use/learn for a special needs child (effective age of 5). Ipad or PC, either way. Thanks in advance-
Ok here is what finally got it to work:
With the USB cable plugged in to the RC and phone (iPhone 6+):
- power on RC
- power on bird
- unplug USB cable from phone and RC, then plug back in
The last step is what seemed to do the trick. Thanks again for your help. Now it's time to upgrade FW...

Yes I do have the latest version of the app. In fact, I just tried deleting and re-installing the app but that did not fix the issue. Now instead of the ghosted out "Enter Camera View" button I see a "How to Connect" button.

I crashed my P3P :(
I got a replacement P3P :)
The DJI Go app will not recognize the new bird :( The RC and aircraft connect, but the app does not enter camera view.
Any ideas?
Nah just bust your budget, get something nicer than your cousin's P3, and let him hear about it!
Seriously though, I would be patient and look for a good deal on a P3P from a reputable dealer. Having the same one as your cousin would speed up the learning curve and he might be a source of...
I'm in the US but visited Auckland and the south island several years ago. It's probably the nicest place I've been. What a beautiful country you have there. Flying a drone would be awesome...post pics!
