Loving the hand-held footage too. The bestablecam stuff is pretty good. We've been using a wearable gimbal from Feiyu Tech. Check out this comparison to a hard mounted camera:
The slow yellow lights mean there is no GPS lock. Just keep both switches on the controller in the top position and the yellow lights will turn green once the Phantom acquires enough satellites. The lights at the front stay red to help with orientation.
Careful of that shift key there, buddy ;)
I'd make sure the gimbal is running the latest firmware then go to Advanced > Gimbal and make sure both the horizontal limit and vertical limit sliders are both in the center.
Also, the GPS module sits on the underside of the top part of the shell. By putting stickers or decals over it, you'd be obstructing GPS signal. That's never a good thing...

We've just received a delivery of Phantom 3 spares, including camera units for both the Advanced and Professional models.
There's also spare batteries, propellers, and sun shields for your tablet or smartphone.

The Phantom 2 Vision+ controller runs on a 5.8GHz frequency, rather than the camera. This means that any goggles (such as the Fatshark Predators) that receive 5.8GHz video signal will not work with the camera. One way around it would be to use a set of goggles which support an HDMI input, then...
