One time this Imperial pompous country got it's *** kicked by imposing rules on the citizens without following any due course or legal process. Maybe it could happen again. Maybe 60 days is the Constitutional law that must first be considered? Maybe drones need to be in a category all of...
Exactly what I finished. Its modular so it can be installed and removed when needed. Its purpose is to grapple a stuck RC in a tree perhaps. If said grapple becomes stuck, you have an emergency safty release to leave the other craft behind. Nothing to do with dropping "payloads from the sky"...
I mean, if you have a bong or rapping papers, but they are not used or are not filled with residues, they are legal. So, having something and how it is used are not the same thing.
Looking to add my own P3P interface for landing gear control. Wondering if the AEO Mod will work? Module Mfg. site was not accessible when I checked www.aeorc.cn out of Xiaogan Hubei Province,China. I check Snoop and found this Aeorc.net also found fttp://69.172.201.208
It would of course be...
If your not dropping anything Just like if your not flying a boxed drone bought for collecting, it may be there as a collectible. I have about 50 GI Joes new in the box over 20 years old. If the device is used as a flight safety release tool, it's not breaking any rules. Might be new but if the...
The first thing on the FAA Drone Registry Site reads, how the FAA is encouraging local, state and other law enforcement to help them chase down those worse than ISIS RC enthusiast. But what the Fed's are being overwhelmingly ask to enforce is our borders. But no, the Feds are creating...
What is the component, better know as the, retractable gear control module under the heat shrink? It utilizes X2 which controls the gimbal but somehow separates the signal allowing the P3, an extra two servos using the PAF switch. Is anyone brave enough to take a peek under the heat shrink?
This is all that is needed and then maybe some adjustments on the PAF limit time=Off-Load Hook travel. But that's in the software. I want to know what's under the heat shrink going to X2 :smilingimp: Therein lies the solution for most likely a few bucks.
If any engineers out there can draw out the P3 Control Interface schematic I'll make it myself. It's probably a cheep micro circuit that isolates and switches the landing gear on a frequency that travels on the same port the gimbal connects into. That's why all of them you see are small...
I was thinking of an Off-Load Hook not for dropping things from the sky but as a safety release holding a grappling assembly. It would be used for rescuing stuck aircraft out of trees and such. Once the hook is set, if the drag pulls to hard, you release the rope or string and try pulling it...
I'm trying to add an additional servo to my P3P also and I came to the same conclusion of having to purchase a $250 dollar landing gear just for the control module. I'm curious however, how did you control the action or travel distance i.e when the servo knew it had traveled enough and stopped...
