Real alternatives GPS quads to the phantom

I would wait for this.....and it's highly aerobatic compared to the Phantom http://www.bladehelis.com/350QX/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pki4TzdGDPY

Nice! I got my third FPV flight in the other day when the wind finally slowed down to 10 mph in a month......Not really liking FPV yet.....loving the Honey Badger though I buried it pretty hard, even heard the thump from 100' away in a grass pasture and I broke 1 prop and one arm ($10) had it...

Yes we do, sounds like theres a ton of us, I think Flying Monkey and 3-4 others hook up fairly regularly. My Honey Badger is a lil firecracker even at 60% throttle trims, I must admit it's fun building muscle memory again, the thing is scary fast at 90% throttle trim

    need a little convincing

Hundreds of thousands? Where did you get this info, last I saw the latest reported serial numbers were around 8k? Anyway about the "rare" fly aways and only the fly-aways come to forums to post looking for answers is speculation, my guess is there's been hundreds of Flyaways and a large amount...

    Phantom Alternatives

Thanks for the heads up, this guy lives 20 minutes away and basically built my Honey Badger with full FPV gear for less than a Phantom. So Nice not to wait 2 minutes to fly just to watch $1100.00 fly off. It's certainly a mover heres some videos trying to get it dialed in and testing legs and...

Flipping the DJI Phantom in manual mode

That thing looks really sluggish, Im wondering if thats the Naza, motors, or speed controllers or a combination of all three. I know in my looking for a replacement for the Phantom I keep hearing people say the Naza doesn't fair well in aerobatics and SimonK flashed speed controllers are a must...

    Share my first FPV footage

Nice miss! I don't know how you guys fly around in the city like that, nerves of steel I guess. I'm ultimately after this, hope I get there soon https://vimeo.com/64508470#at=0

Nice job! Just ordered mine today......I'm going to Line of sigt mine a few days before I Fpv but that guy Peter that sells the honey badger is really a great guy. Full FPV for cheaper than a Phantom, I just know I'm going to need extra frame, a motor or two, a dozen props and maybe I'll restock...

    Flying indoors and rain?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... HkNOM6TiU#! 2:20 yeah another sales pitch to have your stuff fly off and buy another one. Yeah I flew it in the rain several times before it full throttled off on its own during one of it's stress free flights. The videos they put out should warn...

    Newbie

I had zero problems with it until it took off with no control, then I gained control and then it took off with no control again by possibly using a iPhone to send a command to turn lights on in a house so if this is the case and that caused the first loss of control, I'm ok with that ( sort...

Well I would say it's about 100 times easier to fly than a T-Rex or Raptor, not even in the same league, It's really a tough little beast as well, it seems to take tumbles well. The only problem is it comes with a Parkflyer Tx and I'm assuming Rx which may or may not result in all the fly aways...

Those that had the Phantom go bye,bye....a few questions

HDLostme2 this is why we haven't found it yet, we have pretty much gave up figuring its probably 4-8 feet down and not going anywhere until the lipo goes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-I2VbiX ... e=youtu.be
