I'm not sure what is meant by the "camera motherboard" but i assume it's contained within the gimbal. I simply bought a new gimbal/camera and installed it on a "former" P3A. I did notice the fan though. I just thought I'd possibly lost the fan in my other P3A ... maybe not???

Sorry to disagree, but he's not right. The motherboard is the same, it's just a firmware change and a change to the camera. As a matter of fact, I had 2 drones with different issues and purchased a P3P. I pulled the motherboard and put it on a P3A and put the gimbal/camera on my other P3P...

Hey, a quick unrelated question: Is there an easy way to change between drones on the DJIGo app? I seem to struggle every time I want to switch from one to the other. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I saw this earlier ... and maybe I need to check the drone settings better - but I can fly the Advanced with perfect quality, then immediately change to the Pro and have terrible quality.

I now have 2 drones - a P3A and a P3P. My P3A gives me terrific video quality on my iPad 2 (with very little lag ... at least on the DJIGo app) but every time I fly the P3P I can't even use the video screen because the quality is so bad. Even if I downgrade the video recording to be the same...
