It works with me also, glad dji provided this easy way to fix it, so we dont have to wait to fly normal again!! So happy!!

UPDATE! IT WORKS!!! Thanx dji foor the quick fix, it works for me!! Fly like a charm again! The said works 8 out of 10 times, so if your not lucky, you just have to wait till the fix is coming

I have the same problems after updating with the low motorsound when starting up, and then it wobbles and jerks when flying! So i had a call with dji a few minutes back, they know of the problem and are trying to get a new firmware update out, in the mean time they provided a hotfix that works...

Since every place (wind/interference etc) is different, i would say why not try it out with dji go app or with litchi normal flight for yourself? And always keep a few minutes spare (extra) on your automated flight or keep tracking it yourself untill you are very sure the mission is possible to...

I would also always try out RTH and how it works in real life (like on a field) and not go flying al lot of distance without that knowledge. Also never land it at a far distance if you cant see the ground clearly! I made that mistake once a few years back with a parrot bebop, and when i arrived...

If your phone/tablet is empty you lose connection to the dji go app, depending on your settings (land/hover/RTH) it should do just that. in your case, you would first put rth on a hight higher then any obstacles (the trees) in de settings, so then it would climb to that hight above the trees...

Like flashbuddy says, if you don't trust in it don't use it, but i myself think Litchi is a great app, and i use it a lot, normally RTH works perfectly. But on the otherhand, if i lose my p4 to that, i can get a p4p or p5 when it comes out;)

Then your missing al lot of fun flying missions and doing flights that where otherwise impossible to do.

I saw that clip on you tube, its the comparison clip of the mavic vs the karma. But i don't agree, she was impying that it doesnt matter wich drone you have with you, cause your dlsr your carrying wil always be better, but you cant shoot air photos or videos..... Sent from my SM-G920F using...
