20 kph is about my limit ...... I don't fly for business, so why risk it if the winds are stronger.
At anything over about 15 kph or if there are gusty conditions I usually do a hand-launch and retrieval.

When I click on any of the "DJIFlightRecord_ xxxxxx." files is when I get the hieroglyphics - they run over several pages...

I have downloaded the programme (free) but seem to be having a few crashes/stopages .... mmm, maybe my fault as I am no tech genius - more just a button pusher !

Have you got "Chinese Maps" turned on ? It appears my problem was that the maps were turned off and need to be on.
Apparently if off, you are not able to download local maps.

Problem with maps & language ( not mine !!? ) So it has gone back to the dealer & I have a credit for the purchase price ------------------- but no drone. :(:eek::confused:

I have just had my P4P returned from warranty repairs with a new controller. Apart from other 'things' I now have a global map with no detail apart from coastal outlines & countries named in Chinese !
No local detail whatsoever.

I bought from a dealer, not direct. I have to say they have been very good in trying to get things sorted.
The delays seem to have occurred as the dealer returned the RC to the state (WA) distributor, who in turn forwarded it to the Australian Dist. Then it was sent to DJI Melbourne (?)

My problem is with the controller battery. (A brand new complete P4P arrived to replace the original drone that developed a gimbal growl after 5 minutes of flying.)
The (new) RC battery was dead flat when I opened the box. It took an hour & a quarter on charge before any of the level...
The only comment I can make, I bought the "+" for the bright screen.
I figured if it was difficult to see my Samsung S6 screen outdoors in sunlight I wasn't going to be comfortable flying with it.
As for third party apps & Litchi (?) being new to the game - I can't comment.
