It works straight out of the box .. you can change the screen around but you need an FTDI ,USB thing to do it . One of mine had Chinese characters before the items and I haven't been able to change them . The Bang good one is in English . Very easy to setup especially if you don't have the GPD...

You can buy a DJI external compass from an RC shop. I can post a pic of my FC40 when I get home.. Can't seem to do it from this phone ...

I got rid of the compass by using the external GPS module which has compass built in. It sits on a stand 12 cms above the centre. Also makes it easier to do internal maintenance as the lid is no longer attached to the Naza.

You need to load the driver package into your PC first otherwise it won't discover the Phantom..

Try the Walkera QR350 It has similar stuff. If I can get my Alien home build off the ground I'll sell you my FC40 ...LOL.

If you want more flight time try a 2500 or 2700 mah battery.. I get about 9 -10 minutes from my 2700 and 8 - 9 from 2500

You have to switch on IOC in Naza M .. While in there make sure the switch toggles all 3 options .. Once that's done you just have to fly AFTER the compass dance ....
