I'm so glad I checked! Thanks for your help.
The BP monitor I have is this one: Flysight Black Pearl 7" FPV LCD HD Monitor with 5.8Ghz Diversity Receiver RC801
Which looks like it's 32ch, and would explain some of the problems I've been havingwith regards to poor signal. I dont want to change...
After suffering a crash due to a stupid pilot error (pro tip: don't fly at night near telephone lines), my ImmersionRC 600mw was damaged (a large resistor? on top snapped) amongst other things.
So I'm looking for a replacement. I've got the Black Pearl monitor, and had a bit of interference in...
Hi all,
It looks like I've got a very similar story. Crashed into a 40ft tree. The gopro seems fine but the level on my gimbal is way off. See video here:

I suspect my arm is also bent - it's got the full range of tilt motion, but when pointing...
Thanks for the help gents,
Yes, I'm also sure the first crash caused the second. I know I should've performed a more thorough check - I was just desperate - I only had a limited window to get the video and wanted to get back up there asap. I won't be doing that again!
Thanks for the step by...
Hi all
Last night I tried to shoot some aerial footage of bonfire night/firework displays. I wasn't trying to video an organised event - I just wanted to get highish and video the various explosions in the neighbourhood from people setting off fireworks in their back garden.
This was my first...
Well, as well as time restrictions I also had the problem of not trusting anyone to drive my car or my Phantom ;). There's a great route near where I live and I may set up some static cams on the way as well as sticking the gopro to the windshield.
Yeah, I know. I had 10 mins to grab some footage. I'd like to put something longer a more varied together, and plan on doing so soon. I just hope the weather holds!
No I haven't! I wasn't even aware that's possible. Thanks for the tip, I'll give that a try later.
Get videoing that C6, I'd love to see that. There's got to be plenty of big open spaces in the US, surely!
Thanks, yeah I've previously been using the "New sequence from clip" option. However, I was recently advised to go to Clip>Modify>Interpret Footage and change this to the desired rate for slo mo (in my case 25 fps), before dragging on to the sequence.
I tried that tonight when editing this...
2nd video I've made, much shorter this time :).
I was still 'flying blind' when I shot this. I've now got a proper FPV setup and so I'm looking forward to having more control of my shots. I went with a B&W video this time, looked a lot nicer...
