If you change the settings for the photo from S M and L you also get aspect ratio changes.
E.g. S is 'widescreen' as 12MP IIRC
L is a 4:3 type image, but at 14MP.
M is a halfway house, not sure about pixels, but 13 sounds right I suppose.
I use small all of the time, as the pics appear more...
If its happening on full throttle down, it's just doing into landing mode.
IIRC 3 seconds of constant down on the throttle at 100% triggers this.
It seems that if you have a certain vertical speed this does not trigger.
Try the throttle in a slighly less than full down and the problem goes...
Simply use http://www.google.com/advanced_search
Fill in required fields and off you go!
I basically just use the keywords and obviously pop in the site name..
Or, if you want to do it quickly, you can type straight into the search bar in google.
E.g. "find my phantom site:phantompilots.com"...
No worres. I suspect the beta testers may have had to sign a 'if it crashes its not our fault' agreement and this is DJI's way of making sure they don't introduce more problems into their already troubled fleet out there. $$$$$
More to do with financial reasons than anything else, but that is...
Searching the site via Google yields the best results imo.
I am amazed still at all the info shared here - fantastic - and very searchable/reachable if done the right way. :)
Well I've been watching this (and the other) thread with great interest and excitement.
As someone in a badly affected group I am as keen to get my hands on the new firmware as the next man.
However, I am happy to wait for the official release. I believe that leaking anything at this point...
Hello,
When I've tried this, the p2v goes from where ever it is (home point or not) to the altitude of the 1st waypoint. E.g. if you start on the ground, it will arrive at waypoint 1 at that waypoints's alitudue (climb). In my experience, it has never gotten to the waypoint altitude...
With the descent restrictions, I cannot get any other control other than straight down if I want to descend at 2 m/s.
If I want to do any forward or sideways movement I have to reduce this to 1 m/s.
So straight down it is, otherwise a flat battery will help me with a speedier descent.
Can we track down the South Island user who isn't having any issue?
Maybe that's a faulty batch one, and that's why it flies straight :o
Does anyone in say. NZ, have a P2 that demonstrably flies as it should? E.g. any reports of people in high declination areas not having problems?
Thank you so much for the advice - I will try out those manual settings and see how I go.
I am wondering if the auto metering is occurring effectively outside of the frame I am seeing and in it (due to my settings) and because I tilt the camera in a different position it is indeed getting...
I hope it's ok to chip in here:
I have been testing both 90 and 140 FOV. I always notice however that the 90 version always looks 'washed out'. The colours never seem as vibrant and the contrast overall seems lower.
Is this something to do with where the metering or focusing sensors are...
