Did you recently update the firmware?
I had his issue when the drone was on the latest but the controller on a older software.
Make sure that both are really on the same level.
Bring it back where you got it from.
Do NOT open it. That is voiding your warranty.
That’s a known issue. Could even be your brand new drone is a return and sold as new.
Are you sure that is the battery that came with the phantom?
I mean 16 Times charged should be somewhere in the range of 5+ hours of fly time ? Not just 1.5 hours.

Well. All those tips saying that get one and try it and if it doesn’t work out return it kind of might help screwing the perceived number of defective units.

Otherwise we risk burning this part and render the board useless since we could not find it without schematics.
