Went on Maxxuav.com and purchased the ItElite MaxxRange full kit. The difference was night and day. Then for experimentation and future ideas with different antenna ideas I purchased the DJI-EVO Kit from the same place as well. As far as a second bird I've decided to look for a p3a. Gets me the...
I took mine off recently as I was playing with distance flying over unpopulated area after my antenna mod. Wanted to see if it made a big difference or not. Thinking I'm going to end up getting two birds. One with chute for going over houses ect.. and the other dedicated to battery mod and distance.
Thanks for the correction, Sorry about my mistake. Overall still very satisfied with the product. Getting an updated part will just be icing on the cake.
So interesting, I flew a couple of flights today and on the last flight, mid-flight the backpack battery finally went dead. This was not intentional but was my faught as I did not top up the battery before my flights today. Good news is that I know positively system was armed but no deployment...
So this weekend so far I flew eight separate flights with the Mars parachute system with the Mayday and Packpack. Everything went flawlessly. I topped off the charge on the backpack after the fourth flight. I really couldn't be happier with this setup. I have recieved the email from Kyle and all...
Just wanted to give a heads up to a potential problem I addressed. So in my testing of the deployment of the parachute over and over and the nature of my kids being curious of it somehow the lines became tangled over time. I simply untied the lines, untangled them and put back together. Then of...

I would also add that with the backpack modual I'm not worried about reverse polarity damage to the Mayday board as I would be by making a mistake with a separate Lipo battery.
Ok I'm pretty darn happy right now. I feel like I finally have this thing all figured out. I successfully had the Mayday board trigger deployment five times in a row. That's even messing with it like turning it on and off between test, unplugging backpack and plugging back in, wires ect...
