    Like everyone else I set mine based on where I'm flying. Typically 40-50m is fine for me . Depends on where you are . The more important thing is to be aware of it each time you fly and adjust appropriately.

    Correct me if I'm wrong but if you simply shut it off with the battery instead of powering down , won't it go into RTH when you put the battery back in and power on ?

    It worked flawlessly. I was surprised to see it fly by at my first stop light. Then I realized its a feature as it does the 180 to view you from the front and returns to the follow position a few seconds later.

    I believe it returns to the home point. My wife came with me and held the iPad/RC. That being said, once it initiated you don't have to touch anything but obviously someone else should be monitoring the screen at all times.
