Let me tell you why this mod is awesome. (I run almost the same thing, just different battery and the itelite antenna). If you lose your bird, replaceme is cheap (assuming you have the P3S). The bulk of your money spent is in your hands. Definitely cheaper than replacing a P3A/P or Mavic...

Try the app - plane finder. You can see (most) all planes and helicopters in the air, their tail, altitude, flight path and more. Very handy for a quick ID of what’s above you.

I got about 22000 ft away once. Battery was my only limitation. I made it back with about 8% battery left. What a rush. Should mention I'm using DBS antenna with three silver sunhans boosters. Works like a charm. ;)

Maybe retrofits GoPro session to the gimbal? You'll hear lots of prop and wind noise, but if you want it, you can get it. You can also just strap a GoPro on for a static camera position. Check out what the freestyle and racing drone guys do. Works for me. :)

You want the best range you can get. Do this: DBS antenna 2x 2.4ghz sunhans boosters 1x 5.8ghz sunhans booster 12v battery to power the boosters You'll get crazy range and signal reliability. My best was four miles away. Limitation was battery. Made it back with 12%. Flight was in suburbs...

Yep this is "Mr Steele". He gutted a Phantom 3S and put racing guts in it. You can find more on this build by searching for "KISS Phantom". He uses KISS flight controller and ESC, and he actually has his own sponsored motors. He's a pretty bad a$$ pilot.

At lowes, I picked up some heavy duty 3M Velcro. Can hold like 10 or 16lbs. Don't recall exactly, but that stuff is strong! It's the Velcro that is more like small hooks. If you have an ezpass, it's pretty much just like that. Clean surfaces with rubbing alcohol and you'll be well attached...
