If I have the RTH altitude set at 30 but I'm flying at 100 when RTH activates will it stay at 100 as it precedes home or will it decend to 30 from where it is and then go home? I am hoping it is smart and takes advantage of it's current safer/higher altitude and only decends lower when above home.

People seem to think that the 'gimbal guards' generate some kind of invisible force field. the fact is if Phanton crashes belly down the yolk that supports the camera can still break. The gimbal guard does nothing more than prevent motor separation which is only one cause of gimbal failure.
