Hi Tom, check out the following link for removal of the pins. I've tried both 2 and 4 pins to try and get increased stability, however have noticed no difference with the latter.

OK so took to a very large open field today, wind at 2mph! Almost all of the flight was perfect however there were a few wobbles, as though the quad became unstable for a few seconds then corrected itself. I'll try and post a video later, but any ideas?

Yes will do, thanks. Without travelling for 20 minutes this is the most open space I am going to get... and there is a lot of wireless in the area so that could explain things too!

Hi All Had a crash a few weeks ago and after tightening up the gimble and replacing the props everything appears ok. However... in flight stability is not what it once was (see link below) Any advice on what could have caused this/ fix suggestions gratefully received! Thanks!

Thanks all. Disconnected the camera and it appears the camera had become loose from the vertical rod that connects via a small hex bolt. Tightened this up and realigned and it appears to work! Just need to wait for some better weather for a trial run now!

Bit of low level flying at the end of a great day and got caught by a gust of wind, caught in a tree about 10 ft up. Ran over to stop it falling but just missed it!! Now a I get an on screen message saying gimble motor obstructed. Cleared that on screen and everything looks OK, except the...

First flight lesson, remember when flying low altitude that RTH takes it up to a minimum height, not what you want in medium winds! Also, on the dog front.. Had just landed the bird and one came over all friendly... Then promptly pi#sed all over my bag and the legs of the quad!! Lesson = keep...

A success! 12mph winds, the phantom had no issues whatsoever. Stayed in beginner mode and managed a 20 minute flight getting used to things. An awesome machine! :)

Agreed, not flying it in the rain!! Will just have to see if the weather gods are favourable, if not it stays in the case for now!
