    iOSD mini question..

Here's a link i found but doesn't mean it's the cheapest place. It's gone up a bit in price but still worth it. Search for the N1 OSD. FPV Flight Controller N1 OSD Module for DJI NAZA V1 V2 NAZA Lite GPS $19.67 Free Shipping @GoodLuckBuy.com

    iOSD mini question..

There are cheaper OSD's that don't need the PMU. I have a Chinese mini OSD (BangGood) installed in my FC40 that I converted to P1. Works great and was as cheap as 10$. There are 2 little Chinese characters that I can't program away, the rest is English. But who cares. Nice thing is that next to...

    manual mode

Of course I have. Many times. If you know how to fly Atti, manual mode only takes away the barometer. So you have to apply left stick up/down constantly to keep the same altitude. Don't make any harsh stick movements and you should be fine. You can always switch back if you don't trust it...

    Body vibration

Check your props are balanced. Check props for damage. Check the motors if they're turning smoothly. Check bearings of the motors. Check body shell for cracks. Check motor screws are tight. Ever had a crash with it?

RTH descend 4m/s. Warning to FC40 and P1 users with 9443 or 9450 props.

the problem with RTH is that it decends in a straight line with 4m/sec, thus invoking VRS. I never mentioned that VRS would occur when flying in a glide slope.

    Converting FC40 to 2.4Ghz with Radiolink AT10 Tx/Rx

Converted the throttle stick to self centring after all, yeah I know, I'm a *****. I couldn't find a throttle centring set for the Radiolink anywhere. The Futuba's use a similar lever and spring but a slightly different notch on the rotating end, so they won't fit. So I decided to craft one my...

RTH descend 4m/s. Warning to FC40 and P1 users with 9443 or 9450 props.

Thanks for reacting anyway :) I see in your signature your bird is very sleek in spite of the rich config. Well done. My FC40 (2 batteries) and P2 both are around 1380 grams. Definitely has something to do with it. Your power to weight ratio is a LOT better than a P2 with the same stuff. Your...

RTH descend 4m/s. Warning to FC40 and P1 users with 9443 or 9450 props.

VRS is a combination of factors that only sometimes occur, not always. Some people are lucky and never experience it. Probably, IF you never experienced it, you don't know how to recognise it when/if it occurs.

RTH descend 4m/s. Warning to FC40 and P1 users with 9443 or 9450 props.

That's why I say that I hate conspiracy theories, read the lines, or rather, between them even. But to say it's just a toy....the FAA doesn't seem to think so. To you it's just a toy. For DJI it is a crown juwel, like the iPhone for Apple. Extremely serious business for them. Saying you're...

RTH descend 4m/s. Warning to FC40 and P1 users with 9443 or 9450 props.

I actually meant it would lay bare the problems with the design of their props. They adapted the Phantom 2 to the props, which they desperately needed to gain market share with longer fly times than the competition. [abductive reasoning, here we go] The wrong way around. The Phantom itself is...

RTH descend 4m/s. Warning to FC40 and P1 users with 9443 or 9450 props.

I have used 8" on the FC40 for a year and never had VRS, no matter how fast I came down. Sure, it's always a bumpy ride down but never a problem. If you look at a similar Blades or Walkeras, they shoot down like meteors at >5m/s in a RTH. Never heard those users complain about VRS. I don't...

RTH descend 4m/s. Warning to FC40 and P1 users with 9443 or 9450 props.

I found out, since I have FPV-OSD now, that the FC40 comes down with 4m/s while in RTH/FS, and there's nothing we can do about it. This is TWICE the maximum safe descend speed for 9450's or 9443's. I switched it out of RTH immediately when I noticed it, realising that 9" props are in fact...

    Converting FC40 to 2.4Ghz with Radiolink AT10 Tx/Rx

Yeah, I did another flight today with new 9450's. A lot less vibration. I found out, since I have FPV-OSD now, that the FC40 comes down with 4m/s while in RTH/FS, and there's nothing we can do about it. This is TWICE the maximum safe descend speed for 9450's or 9443's. Food for thought. Why...

    Recommend, please... 3-axis gimbal

No, I am certainly not confusing anything, thank you. And the signal isn't supplying the 5.5 volts. The other two poles from the port do that. If you power it with 12 volts, you still need also a signal wire from F2 to the gimbal pitch port, provided that you want to operate the pitch...

    Recommend, please... 3-axis gimbal

The F2 port on the Naza-M module, see picture. You need a standard 3 pole servo cable to make it work. It should work straight away. No other connection needed. Basically, you can get power from any of the ports, they all supply 5.5 volts. I powered a 5Volt LED from the F1 port the same way...
