I tried the GoPro software using a SJ4000 (knockoff brand) and the software told me that it was exclusively for gopro video files only... With everyone suggesting GoPro, do you just put the raw mp4 or MOV file into the software for editing?
Irvine has a stick up their you know what when it comes to drones and everything else. But yes any pier is great and I would say El Toro base and pretty much anywhere on Santiago Canyon road or Orchard Hills
The Phantom can hold its own in the cold, I flew near McKinley Park in Alaska in 25F (-4C) with extremely low cloud cover and a light drizzle of rain. Performed just fine biggest problem was my fingers getting sluggish on the sticks.
Davinci Resolve. it is extremely complex though, and would not recommend for a first time video editor. I started on Lightworks, this too is harder and had to watch many videos on how to perform certain tasks.
SteveMan is correct I learned on Lightworks (LW) for editing my phone videos but unfortunately LW is unable to handle the higher quality of 4k the playback is extremely laggy then freezes. I would recommend Davinci Resolve, it requires a higher graphics card (probably just a newer computer...
I have also tried to post to instagram... I have been unsuccessful getting the app to play the video. I copy and pasted the raw mp4 video from the sd card to my computer then to my android s5.
let me know Athill if you figured something out
