I'd just go and file through Drone Zone. It will probably get approved anywhere from within the same day to a week. Note they always advise me to request as little deviation from the advertised restriction as possible. And depending on how close you are to the airport the drone manufacture (DJI)...
Just curious. Do you have an HDMI port on the back where an Ipad might work for a screen? Maybe delete the upgrade file from your SD card. Re-download and reboot with the new file. Making sure you have the correct file. Phantom 4 Pro Pro+ Remote Controller Firmware 01.04.03.00...
Thanks for the info! By chance could you provide that link so I could refer to it later. I'm limited on time and I just spent a couple of hours trying to find what you're telling me. I think I'm more concerned about the Class E surface non-tower. Maybe that is what I remember about the...
No, I haven't had to post a sign yet. But, I do mention if I'm within the five miles of an airport for them to note or post something that I'll be flying a drone in their area so the local pilots would know, per regulations.
It's not, it'll help keep pilots out of the airspace that they are not supposed to be in. It was another example of the dangers if pilots are flying over people are moving vehicles and hit something they don't see. It falls on to a expressway, group of people etc.
Regular pilots and their passengers, not UAS Pilots. Not to mention if you hit a bird or something you don't see and it falls on someone's car. Remote ID mandate is on the way.

Guess I'm a little confused by the question. Why are you seeking airspace authorization to fly in a non LAANC area? Wouldn't you just fly per normal regulation?
If the area you're wanting to fly is in Controlled Airspace, then it'll still be the same as my previous answer. FAA has been granting...
Then I guess you'll have to file https://faadronezone.faa.gov/ . They are farming it out to subcontractors in my area. Had authorizations in less then a week. Usually, they suggest to keep it as low as possible and a small radius working area. Example a 0 agl area they wouldn't give me anything...
If you are a commercial 107 pilot you can get in a automatic LAANC area within seconds. You'll have height limits. If you need to go outside though limits you have to file directly with the FAA. It's been taking me less than one week.
