I have a Phantom 3 S. It is just over 12 months old and flies perfectly. about 6 months ago I tried to carry out a firmware upgrade as requested by the DJI Go app and it all failed horribly. After the upgrade the RC controller would not connect to the Phantom and the App would not connect. I had...
I had problems with my P3S and wifi dropout and it was all connected with the DJI go APP. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and everything was fine. Worth a try. I had a repeat of the problem after an App update. This also coincided with an update to the firmware and I had to get someone...
I completely agree with mdowney58 on the procedure he outlines, however I would warn that even this procedure does leave a lot of files from the DJI Go app which can only be deleted by manually editing the file system. This is obviously potentially dangerous if you are not familiar with the...
Well having sent it back to RC Geeks they quickly confirmed that there was nothing apparently wrong with the aircraft or the remote. They were able to connect their phone (iphone) to the kit and carry out the update. In the meantime ANOTHER update for the DJI Go app came out (Version 2.8.0) so I...
I contacted DJI Support via email to seek their advice. They responded next day with an email referring me to the EU support in Holland. After sending them log files etc, They said they would need to see the product so I have returned the aircraft and controller to my supplier RC Geeks. Watch...
Yes I had just updated the DJI go app which is why it then wanted me to update the firmware.. I have tired resetting the WIFI link but no joy even though the controller responds correctly with a flashing main light, it just goes on forever until turned off. I have sent an email to DJI support...
I just tired to do an update on my Phantom 3 Standard via the DJI Go app as requested. The update failed and when I tried again I could not get the Phantom wifi to appear on my phone. I noticed the controller main light was red which supposedly indicates that it is not linked to the Phantom...
Hi,
You said in your first post that it was the video signal you lost. If that is the case and you still had R/C control then it could be the app that is the problem. Try unistalling and reinstalling the app. FOr good measure you could reset the wifi on the controller as well.
OK Today at last the weather was OK to test my Phantom 3 Standard after resetting the wifi and uninstalling and reinstalling the DJI Go app. GREAT NEWS! It worked I had a solid wifi throughout the fight and took video and stills with no problem. I flew in P/A/F modes and all worked as...
Interesting that you have had wifi problems a well t0mbola, sound moreconsistently a range issue than mine as I lost wifi even close in but then had good wifi further out at times. I am going to try a wifi reset tomorrow as Mandalay suggested and see if that helps.
