No I haven't, however I don't have access to the drone until Monday but that will be the first thing I try, thank you.

I attenpted to fly my new phantom 4 yesterday, however the status said cant take off because simulator is open. So I closed the simulator and attempted to turn the drone on and off again in order to restart it to unlock the propellers, but when the drone came on it put me in simulator mode again...
