Try refreshing the firmware in DJI Assistant.

It can be adjusted in DJI GO4 app. Same screen where the gimbal calibration is. Either yaw or roll can be adjusted.

You are correct. The GPS antenna and board are under the top of the upper shell. The compasses are located in the landing skids.

After you remove the lower and middle shells be sure to check for internal damage. An impact hard enough to crease the shell could have resulted in visible internal damage and invisible electronic damage.
