If you stay relatively close (within 1000 feet), the lag isn't bad. It makes flying much easier, particularly in congested areas. I'd love to upgrade to a P3P or P4, but the cash isn't there, so I use what I have.

Ultimately, I think the intereference is from Bluetooth, based on testing I did. I saw no differnce with cell data, I just don't want to be disturbed. Wifi on is a must for FPV.

This is what I tell people whenever they complain about lack of range. Your problems are now solved as you got rid of the radio interefernce.

Depends how you use it. They have a couple of operating modes. In one, it can continuously update its location on a web site. This could become obsolete. The other is text message based positioning (send it a text, it replies with its position). That should continue to work.

i didn't do any soldering. It came with all the cables. I did have to plug straight into the Naza, but that was only a 10 minute detour. Software settings was my down fall.

Agreed Mori. I paid $20 on AliExpress.com. they work pretty well.

If you have Android, buy the Litchi app, it supports stereoscopic viewing. You can then put your phone into a google cardboard headset.

The ability to fit glasses depends on the headset you buy. There are hundreds of them on the market. You will have to try them.

If you are only getting 450 feet, I would suggest putting your phone in airplane mode with WIFI turned on. I had big problems with interference. Next is the RE700. I get about 1200' with that setup at 400' altitude. Next, adding one of these cheap antennas to the RE700 got me out to about 1900'...
