Often firmware upgrades reset your settings back to default. There is a DJI GO setting to enable the external output that may have changed with the upgrade.

Most states don't allow flying and hunting on the same day. Meant for airplanes but most states have interpreted or clarified the law to includes drones.
I had a similar problem and tried everything. Last deal was to delete and re-install DJI Go app. When you fire up the new app if it asks you to go through a safety tutorial - do it. Not sure it makes a difference but on of the steps in the tutorial asks you to agree to the rules which may? make...
There is a "wipe" .bin file out there that will put you back to factory base 1. I have not tried it but seems like a possible last attempt. I don't know if you can upgrade from 0 - 100 in one shot so maybe a couple steps. Search on things like reset or wipe .bin file..... kbw
I had much the same thing happen. DJI Go App would crash and exit when I tried to enter camera view. Simple answer is I uninstalled and re-installed the App and it worked. One odd thing though.... When I fired up the app after re-installing again I was prompted to go thru a "Safety Slideshow"...
