Johnny is correct on the amp thing. Its not as easy as just hanging amps on and getting incredible distance. Sometimes I get a mile , sometimes I get lucky and the stars, moon and wifi interference all line up and i get 5 miles. And then there's the can of worms you open when adding them...
I would hang amps on before going to Maxx. You probably will need them anyway so get them now with the smaller panel that you have and give it a try. I have Maxx and amps and it is not something you want to hang around your neck for a long period of time. But it does penetrate..
Yeah I see that. I forgot that i am running P3P landing gear on my standard for the pro style antennas. Sorry for misleading you. I think you can find carbon fibre guards on ebay for the P3S.
Stronger P3 Carbon Fiber Camera Guard with Utility Hole
They break pretty easy. I like the carbon fibre better. Haven't broke this one yet from UAV Bits.
Have them on 2 birds.
In my case the AC initiated RTH as I was below LOS. I was trying to get down into my mechanic's parking lot. When I got down low enough to lose signal it did a RTH and came home. I was hoping mine would do as you described. Turn, raise up and come home. I didn't realize it hadn't until I...
In watching my video later it did not climb straight up to RTH height. It turned towards home and gradually raised to RTH height as it flew towards home. It barely missed a top of a tree in doing so. RTH is cool feature but I prefer to be above RTH height when it kicks in.
What tablets you using Agent? My Nvidia died mid flight so looking at options as Best Buy will refund money but can't get me another.
Amazing line up. Very envious..
Are you moving to another location or always starting at the same place? If your always starting at the same place and the blue dot is where your at maybe it doesn't announce it. I don't even listen for it as long as it shows me where blue dot is and it's close to where I'm at.
Dig I'm running twin 2300's and twin 3400's venom bats. What voltage can I rum them down to? When I come in i put a voltage checker on them and they are usually about 15.1 total volts. Can I run them again or time to charge? Thanks
