OK, sounds good!
I guess I thought for some reason that the data cable on the Soektrum RID had to be plugged in tot he Data port on a Spektrum receiver.
Maybe that requirement is only if you want to get telemetry from the RID Module through the receiver to the radio???
That is great news!!! Thanks!
UPDATE: From the FAA Website:
https://www.faa.gov/newsroom/faa-extends-remote-id-enforcement-date-six-months
and also, directly from the FAA site:
Yes, I will be getting a Spektrum RID module to use with my fixed-wing planes (as I use Spektrum receivers in them). Don't think it can be used with my Phantom 3 or Phantom 4 drones though :(
So, has everyone decided on which third-party remote ID module (RID) to get for their Phantoms?
Is there an inexpensive option in the $50 range? I watched a video comparison and the cheapest one was like US $160 or something like that.
Thans in advance.
Also, if anyone has heard anything...
Also, while on the subject of adding and replacing the rubber bumpers, is it true that the plastic anti-drop pins can NOT be reused and just need to be cut off and replaced with new ones?
Thanks in advance.
Hi there, and thanks for the note.
Can you clarify this for me though?
Do I put two of the white bumpers on each of the plastic pegs?
Or do I put the bumpers between the holes where there are no pegs? So even if there are no pegs, there are still the white rubber bumpers?
Thanks in advance...
Hi there, and thanks for your reply.
Just to be sure we are taling about the same thing, do you mean these little white rubber things that are highlighted in this photo?
I ask because you said there were four of them, and my P3A only has two of them (and two of the anti drop pins).
Thanks in...
My footage from my P3A is jittery. Any ideas why?
You can see it in the first couple of shots of this video. In particularly at the large white house on the right of the screen, starting at the 5-second mark of this video.
I was shooting in 2K at 60fps, and placed it on a 30fps (29.97...
First, thanks for the reply.
I just ordered this kit from Terrestrial Imaging. I think it is correct because my P$P is a version 1, not a V2 (it has the SILVER colored logo).

I got the set with both legs because the other leg...
Can you please help identify what part this is that is broken? (See photos)
It is in the landing strut. There is a black wire that seems to be soldered on to some thin black "wafer" of some kind. This is about two inches below the sensor on the back right hand side of the drone.
What is this...
