The mini-usb port on my controller was broken out of the box and I had to kind of push up on it when inserting it or the computer would not recognize it.
I have the same issues. Mine worked at first then got progressively worse after the next few flights to now not showing any video at all. I have the same symptoms, no video feed but telemetry data and camera controls work fine as do recording to sd card. I have tried older versions of the app...
1. What is the problem? Gimbal issues, garbled green screen/black screen in Vision app.
2. Have you contacted DJI? Yes, via email. No response in 2 weeks. I don't have time to sit on the phone for an hours wait time.
3. Has DJI addressed the issue and how, or are you waiting for them to do...
Well, that didn't last long. After the last power up it lost the setting and is right back at pointing down. It also seems the pot is now stripped out and I cannot make any more adjustments. I was very gentle with the micro screwdriver for those wondering... so yeah, if you mess with this pot be...
I am hearing a very slight metallic squeak when I fly by close. Does anyone else notice this? I'm wondering if maybe I have a dry bearing in one of the motors reducing my flight time. I'm going to try oiling the top bearings a tiny bit to see if that helps it. I really don't want to pull the...
So mine also point straight down after power up and I first thought the gimbal was broken because it makes a whine or buzz while pointed down. I played around with the pot on the back of the transmitter and here is what I found:
* Make adjustments to the top pot only. The bottom one...
As for Android I think there may be an issue with some devices connecting to nearby WiFi devices. I'm having a ton of issues with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I did notice when I connect to the Phantom SSID that my phone says "Unstable WiFi connection". I also had issues with this phone connecting...
WOW! Then I have a serious issue with mine then. No, I'm definitely not flying high speed. As a matter of fact I'm doing very little forward flight at all as I am still getting used to it. I only got up to 300' on my last flight as that's all I was comfortable with.
My first flight I only got 6 mins flight time before the battery went red. 30% I think it was. Second flight I got 12:57 but I flew to 27% battery. My third flight I only got 12:47 and went to 13% battery. Doesn't seem right to me. Do the batteries have a break-in period?
So I installed the .40 version on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and tested inside the house and so far so good. I noticed something weird though... the 640x480 30fps is more glitchy than the 15fps mode. I went turned on the Phantom in the living room and took the transmitter and tablet to each room...
Yep, no way to disable for one app so I just turned it off for now. I'm still having issues with freezing in mid-air though and once the app crashed completely. I will try my Samsung tablet and if I have the same issues I will return the Phantom. The app was completely useless today.
Arrrg! Sneaky Android! I know what happened now. I just looked at my notification bar and saw where is auto update DJI vision back to .40 version. Now I got to figure out how to disable auto update for this app. That explains it.
I went back to the .39 version of the app and no go. Still get garbled green blocky display. I also tried the lower resolution modes with no difference. It will occasionally clear up with a power off of the phantom then power back on. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. This thing has 4 cores...
