Bummer... running Android... not an Apple fan, do not have a single Apple product in the house... maybe if I found someone with an iPad and installed the DJI software on it it would work for my needs?

My Phantom 3 decided to fly into a tree, despite my attempts to convince it otherwise... I was flying around a small island in a lake, bird was around backside, out of line of sight... viewing through monitor... saw tree coming up on the left, pulled right stick down and right to evade... drone...

I use a Kindle Fire HDX... works perfectly... smooth video...

Here is an example... when the bird is in hover you can see the tombstones shaking as the gimble rattles... once the move starts everything smooths out...

When the drone is in hover the gimble and camera visably shake... footage shows shaking as wel... when unit is in flight everything smooths out...

I notice that when my Phantom 3 is hovering there is visable chatter on the gimble... you can literally see the camera shaking... once the unit is in motion everything smooths out, but in hover you can see a lot of chatter from the gimble... bird has never been wrecked, props are perfect...

Stupid question probably, but... I can't find a way tor eset the footage counter for total time of video shot on my Phantom 3 Pro... when I take the card out, reseat it, format it... the footage counter still shows a cumulative amount (like 1 hour 20 minutes), not 0:00:00 like it should... thoughts?

How could a Phantom (or any DJI) pilot get anywhere near an airport? I thought that GPS telemetry build into the unit created no fly zones, where the unit would simply refuse to stay in the air?

Relatively new pilot... First filming flight for my Phantom 3 Pro... up till now I have been flying to get the feel of flying it through the reference monitor, not really looking at anything beyond framing, flight path, etc... today I shot some footage for the first time (4k)... less than...
