    Dronebase- is it worth it

Just did my first paid client mission with DroneBase yesterday. I had forgot about signing up, and realized I missed quite a few client mission offers lately. This mission was 3 miles away, and was completed on a P4P with 40% battery to start (i.e. very quickly). No post means quick turnaround...

    Florida Keys

Assuming you're flying as a hobbyist (not Part 107 Commercial). In addition to the airport restrictions, the Keys have some national park restrictions nearby such as Biscayne and Everglades. Key West is difficult due to the airport, Naval station, and Dry Tortugas national park.

    Drone Photography-Night Cityscape Tutorial.

Yes. You can choose on a per-flight basis if you are operating as a hobbyist or commercial. It just needs to be logged as such.

Is this sd card any good ?

That one looks good. The SD card ratings/classifications are confusing to say the least.

Is this sd card any good ?

You might be correct on the SDHC/SDXC, however packaging on that card clearly states 90MB/s read, but 45MB/s write.

Is this sd card any good ?

That one is a step below the current top-line cards. It is Class 10/U3, but it's SDHC vs. SDXC and 45MB/s write speed. I would go with a Class 10/U3/SDXC which should be closer to 90MB/s write speed.

    Drone Photography-Night Cityscape Tutorial.

Great tutorial. Well done! Kykazaa, the night restriction only applies for Part 107 commercial flights. A waiver is required if you plan to fly at night under Part 107. However, as a hobbyist, the only requirement is to maintain line of sight which is possible via the LEDs.

    FAA Part 107 Rules

As mentioned above, if you have a Part 107 license you can select whether you are operating commercially under Part 107 or as a hobbyist (via flight logs). Part 107 regulations are not relevant unless you have a Part 107 license and are operating under Part 107 for a designated flight.

WILL TSA DENY MY APPLICATION FOR MY REMOTE PILOTS CERTIFICATE?

For clarification, the FAA (not TSA) is the regulating agency. A traffic violation won't be considered or noticed. There's no reason to feel defeated or discouraged, keep going!

Where to fly and not fly on Long Island, NY...

This is incorrect from my understanding. For national parks, it includes drone takeoff, operation, and landing. One of the primary reasons for the ban is noise/nuisance. With this reasoning, it would make sense all operation is banned.

Where to fly and not fly on Long Island, NY...

You can fly around them. As long as you don't take off, land, or fly through those zones, you're fine.

    Night Flying Mission

It sounds like your question is "could" verses "should". Myself and others mentioned the concerns. Additionally, you are within range of Foxwoods CoGen (technically a power plant), Wychwood Field, and a private heliport.
