If you have a concern with the government having your credit card information, why not get one of those disposable prepaid credit cards to use for the registration? Personally I'm under the assumption that the NSA has already skimmed that information.
The status on the 6000's went to buy now on LimeFuel's site and the price increased to $110. Maybe those of us with preorders will start to see shipping notifications.
Once DJI gets this all sorted out and makes these new motors/esc's... at least as reliable as the 2212's, I'll probably just put new heat shrink tubing over the wires and make sure that they are as far apart as possible. I can put the T-Motors in my other bird (a P2V non plus).
I found another possible explanation that they can't fix with a simple ESC firmware upgrade. I ordered 4 of the 2312 motors and 3 of the motors had bad insulation right out of the package. I'm talking small little splits in the insulation. The lead on one motor had what appeared to be a tiny...
While I was removing my aluminum foil mod the GPS shield split apart with it. The top layer of foam and most of the copper foil came off with the aluminum tape. Does anyone know if DJI offers the GPS shield as a replacement part or if it is included with another part?
What I would like to find is the new shielding that DJI is using in the updated Vision +.
Before you assume that you need upgraded ESC's for the new motors, open your Phantom and check the version on your current ESC's. DJI has made it sound like most V2+'s shipped with the V2.0 ESC'S.

I just posted this to the Rotorpixel Facebook page:
I know this will be quickly removed but please take a minute first and read it thoroughly and think about what I'm saying.
You really need to start spending even 5 minutes a week writing a real quick update, you are loosing very loyal...
At the end of a flight I will grab the legs like I'm doing a grab landing and then throttle up a little bit. The batteries seem to drain quite quickly.
The folks over at MotorPixie have a diagram that show the pin out for the 4 pin stereo plug.

At least on the P2V's shutting down the Phantom prior to ending recording causes a corrupt file. The way to recover the file was to place the card back in the camera, turn on the Phantom and camera, wait about a minute and voila a corrected file. Of course of anything else has written over the...
