IGNORE: Item sold! Phantom 2 Vision Plus for Parts, lot of extras

This unlucky drone sat in the woods for 3 years until deer hunters found it. But it has good parts AND I have two controllers, 6 extra new props, blade guards, custom carrying case, all cords and charging adapters. AND ALSO have a fully repaired working gimbel + camera that was my spare. All...

Phantom 4 Adv fell like a rock

Having lost two DJI drones, and seeing a constant stream of lost and fallen drones, I conclude that you simply have to accept that every few years you have to spend another $1000 or more for a new drone. Which I can't afford. I miss flying, but the tension over waiting for it to fall or fly off...

    My P4 vanished

I feel your pain. I really miss having a drone, but watching two of mine take off for parts unknown over the tree-tops, never to be seen again, has put me off them for a while.

    The Descent

Magnificent! Really makes me want to get back into the game. I just got a call today from a deer hunter who found my last drone that flew away three years ago.

    Lost my P4

This is why I have given up on buying DJIs. Watching them fly over the tree tops, out of control: not fun.

    Phantom Rental

I think rental is an iffy idea for reasons stated, but having had TWO DJIs fly away, I am tempted to rent rather than buy again. If the thing flies away, is the renter on the hook?

What's up guys, going from Inspire to Phantom 3

Bummed to hear that Inspire also flew away. That was a while back. Has the Inspire been reliable?

    P3 Less Prone to Flyaway?

Yeah, and when a bucket truck tips over it is much worse than a drone crash, specially for anybody underneath it.

    P3 Less Prone to Flyaway?

See, I would go for dropping into a volcano, IF I could get the darn chip back, at least. The footage might be worth it.

    P3 Less Prone to Flyaway?

The video was funny, for sure. So far, I think I will stick to renting a bucket truck by the day. Cost = $250, altitude limit = 50 feet. Very rarely does a bucket truck fly away over the tree line.

    P3 Less Prone to Flyaway?

Yeeps. That is SO not what I was hoping to hear.

    P3 Less Prone to Flyaway?

Having lost TWO Vision Two+ drones in the last few years due to flyaways, I am not going to buy another. Do people tend to think that the P3 or the Inspire are less likely to disappear over the treetops? I really miss doing my aerial shooting, but can't keep chucking $1200 down the drain...
