    Phantom 4 UgCS Issues

UgCS support got back to me. The whole issue was that it was the fact that I downloaded the app from Google Play, not their web site. Didn't have to resort to an old P4P firmware. Thanks for all of your help.

    Phantom 4 UgCS Issues

I just received a support response from UgCS. They said to delete the version of UgCS that I downloaded from Google Play (2.39.2402) and download one from their site (2.39.2401). Seems odd but I will try that before resorting to going retro on the P4P firmware. Other than this glitch, I am so...

    Phantom 4 UgCS Issues

Help please. I am a new UgCS user and recently purchased UgCS Pro and I am having Phantom 4 Pro v 2.0 issues. I am running the latest and correct version of Go Fly 4 on an Android tablet. I updated the RID firmware a month ago and can fly manually within Go Fly 4. When I tried some test runs...

Phantom 4 Pro V2 is now RID compliant

The FAA wouldn't accept 1581F so I tried 1581E and it took!

Phantom 4 Pro V2 is now RID compliant

I tried the serial number of the drone, not the controller. If you can find the logic/length article, that might work. It doesn't accept plain numbers.

Phantom 4 Pro V2 is now RID compliant

The RID on my other drone is 20 digits so I assume there is some format that makes the FAA happy. I was able to put 20 numbers in the Go app. DJI has always, IMO, sucked at documentation. The FAA is the the FAA.

Phantom 4 Pro V2 is now RID compliant

I tried. Updated app. Updated firmware. Inputted a number in Aeroscope. Put 10 digit number in Drone Zone, invalid #. Put a 20 digit number in Drone Zone, invalid #. Connected drone to DJI assistant, no remote ID listed. Used Drone Scanner, no RID. Downloaded Drones Flying Near Me, no RID...

Phantom 4 Pro V2 is now RID compliant

I am confused with this statement in the PDF "DO NOT update to this firmware version if the GS Pro app is being used with the aircraft. Otherwise, the aircraft cannot be used." I have GS Pro installed on my tablet but rarely use it. Do I simply delete the GS Pro app and never use it? Thanks.

    Altitude

Thanks. I am wondering if that pressure-based altimeter could use a cleaning. The drone has been in storage unused for years.

    Altitude

Thanks for responding. I set the height for say 4 meters. When I either hover or practice maneuvers slowly, the actual height of the drone drops 25% or more. When I check the screen to see what the height is reading, it still says 4 meters. In GPS mode, 32 C, 29.90Hg, 28% humidity, clear skies.
