Check out my comments at New graphene batteries on phantom 1
Also I noticed that this 5200 Multistar would fit with my modifications: MultiStar High Capacity 5200mAh 3S 10C Multi-Rotor Lipo Pack for QR X350 PRO
Based on some testing I've done, I use about 4 mah per second when flying and...
I finally bought two of the Turnigy Graphine 4000 mah batteries referenced above. I was disappointed to find that they were 41 mm. wide instead of the 31 mm. shown on Hobby King's website. So I decided to see if I could modify my Phantom 1.1.1 to accommodate them. It took enlarging the...
These look like they may be the hot ticket for a Phantom 1.1.1.
Turnigy Graphene Professional 4000mAh 3S 15C LiPo Pack w/XT60
They'll fit in my slightly enlarged battery opening. At only 296 gm. they should give a couple minutes longer flight times than the 2700 Mad Dogs I've been using. The...
I've been an AMA member for 20 years. They have no problem with FPV, but require a spotter. You can read up on it at their website. The insurance is secondary to your homeownwers insurance. If the only thing you're flying is a Phantom I don't see much advantage in joining the AMA.

Try Hobby King's Lipo Finder http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/lithium_polymer_battery_configuration.asp
Plug in a range of dimensions that will fit. You might find something that will work.
Sorry, I wasn't implying that you were lying. I was implying that you were talking to someone that doesn't know the product. I have two Cellpro 4s and have been using them for years. The best way to learn to use a piece of equipment is to read the instructions. You'll find that a lot of...
I find it hard to believe that a legitimate FMS representative would tell you that, since it is wrong. It should be obvious from looking at the charger and reading the directions that came with it that the only way to charge a Lipo is by connecting to the balance plug only. If you have a DJI...
3 bladed props are inherently less efficient than 2 bladed props, so don't expect any advantage.
What are you trying to accomplish? There are hundreds of postings on this website regarding props. If you're trying to increase flight time then get a set of Phantom 2/Vision 9443 props...
As indicated above there is a lot of confusion and conflicting information regarding this subject. I have been a member of the AMA for over 20 years. They have a legal staff and lobbyists on their payroll who are on top of these issues. I'll accept their advise and guidelines over those of...
