Hmm, I would be very surprised to see that, as far as a know it was only possible on a standard where you could accidentally connect to the drone via wifi and get into a terminal session but never on something with lightbridge.
Maybe due to the enormous orders that seem to be, it attracts more...
Nope, it will not land at 4Km, it will finish the mission even without a valid signal. And yes, i do this sometimes and the first time is nerve racking waiting and hoping it will get back in range. You need an app that allows planning ahead though like litchi
Yeah was thinking the same about the surfers, but last week I placed some surfers on my p3 controller and wend out to test it.
Usually without I could manage up to 3Km but amazingly with the surfers I got 5Km with almost full bars.
But.. Being in the Netherlands that is very crowded I spotted a...
Good for you and good decision, gimbal guard is what is says, guard. It is not meant to be on while filming but when you use it for fast moving low across the field or woods it might be a very good idea to sacrifice some clear footage for a little bit protection.
I can imagine that after market...
1 no, dji Will release nd filters later on, you could expect after market is already looking into it.
2 who knows, again after market is into everything it seems
3 time is moving fast, you should re-investigate and you will be surprised about the story developments.
Actually they do:), called the Osmo. You can buy the Osmo handle and stick an inspire camera on it.
Different priceclass though, but still they offer the option and have done for a bit longer.
The karma is however an attractive ecosystem for a competitive price. They real world tests however...
Wow, that liberal considering the Netherlands and Belgium are increasing way beyond reasonable the rules. Limit altitude to 50m (150 feet) and line of sight to 100m, both hobby/commercial effectively killing drone activity all together. Stupid stupid stupid.
Actually, it is a bit more complicated than just NFZ.
NFZ were hardcoded into the phantoms firmware (not dji go app) since 2.4 or something?. It could not be overridden and some users where actually living inside a nfz and could not even arm the phantom inside their home.
Geo (still in beta and...
Actually no, ken (blade) posted new videos yesterday tracking a car driving around on a industrial complex with buildings and other equipment up to 25mph.
I wonder though if tracking on a p4 is also a tethered action using an app or solely onboard a secondary processing mcu. In that case the...
Neil,
The app is hardwired to use stick mode 2 it seems. I myself have set the controller to mode 3 (swapped mode 2) and the moment i switch to 'f' and start using tracking the sticks are clears using a mode 2 control.
Could you make a setting to it for using other stick modes?. I reported this...
The camera is not doing the tracking, but I'm sure they have a separate mcu board that is processing the camera image for the tracking.
A p3 alternative is the vertical app, that is doing exactly that but that means that tracking is only by the tethered app and mcu from the phone/tablet.
We...
Hmm, let's see... When I first flew more than los I instantly got the feeling it was the excitement of flying like a bird. It is a whole new world from 200-400ft looking down and you can get lost in that feeling.
The most exciting is using vr glasses, then you really going out for some distance...
